ThermoimagingALCIOM : R&D of an innovatile ultra-low cost thermal imager

Following a feasibility study, most of the projects can be followed by a traditional turnkey development taken in charge either by a research department together with Alciom's assistance, or directly by ALCIOM whenever it is needed.

ALCIOM works also frequently for innovative projects for which a real research approach is needed. ALCIOM makes by itself the feasibility study, the necessary bibliographical researches, the study of the possible solutions and their implementation via the development of an experimental demonstrator or a pre-industrial prototype. ALCIOM can also bring its own experience for the global project management of the project and also for the development and industrialization of the validation of the business plan.

Projects examples

CEA		Feasibility study, technological brainstorming and development of an experimental prototype for the acquisition and the real-time treatment of signals of spectroscopy gamma (acquisition 16 bit / 100Msps, digital filtering on FPGA Virtex 5, transmission on connection Gigabit Ethernet, nonstop effective flow furthermore of 750Mbps). DOTVISION		Architecture study, conception system and development of an experimental prototype of real-time geo-localization of more than 1000 objects (GPS, protocol slotted-TDMA radio frequency specifically conceived, in accordance with the normative constraints EN300220)
LEOSPHERE		Architecture study, recommendations of architecture system and development of a pre-industrial prototype for a system of fast acquisition for atmospheric LIDAR (ADC 250Msps, signal processing on FPGA, more than 300 000 acquisitions and FFTs per second)
BOUYGUES TELECOM		Feasibility study, architecture study and development of an experimental model for a wide radio field sensor for applications of radio-protection (100MHz-3GHz)
ART-FI		Architecture study, digital simulation and development of an experimental prototype for a microwave SAR measurement system (up to 13GHz, microstrip filters)
