SmtAssistant
SmtAssistant is a software developped by ALCIOM and helping to locate a part on a printed circuit board, based on a bitmat of the PCB and Pick&Place file. SmtAssistant was developped for our own needs, but could help you for manual prototype assembly, inspection or board repair works.
Running under Windows (XP/7/8/10),this software can be used freely for any commercial or non commercial application. Of course ALCIOM doesn’t provide any support on this free software, but we will welcome any comment or improvement proposals !
Since January 1st, 2022, this software is provided by ALCIOM as open source under GPLv3 licence. So full source code is available here under. Enjoy !
